How our Rename Product Image(s) tool works?

By default, our Rename function is offered as an option and not as a separate tool. The reason for this is the Shopify limitation, which somehow renames your product pictures during compression or square actions.

We've created the Rename function so that you can influence on picture titles, applying some or other templates.

Nevertheless, you still need to take into account certain limitations. We add id after the specified template to maintain the uniqueness of picture titles during Rename function usage, e.g.:

Where 3123098 is a unique ID given to your product image.

Even using this type of template it is possible to achieve pretty good SEO results as you specify product and store name and demonstrate it to Google. If you don't want to apply the proposed image rename function, then random title will be used instead due to Shopify limitations. We can not influence on this even after compression or square functions.
