Delivery validation by ZIP code

With the app, you can enable delivery validation by exact ZIP code matching.

The exact ZIP code matching method validates ZIP/postal codes your customers insert into the widget on the front end. The code is to exactly match the allowed codes you added at the app’s backend.

You can create an unlimited number of zones and add different delivery fees to each one if required.

How to set up

  1. Navigate to Settings >> Shopper address validation and select the “By zip code” option.

  2. Move to the Delivery profile and enable the “Exact zip code match” option.

  3. Click “Add delivery area” green button:

  4. In the popup appearing, add the Area name, Delivery fee (if required), list all the ZIP codes for the area and click “Add zip codes” button:

  5. Save the Area profile:

  6. To create another delivery area, click the “Add delivery area” green button above the existing profile and proceed the same way:

How it works

  1. Enabling validation by ZIP codes will add a special field to the Delivery tab in the app widget:

  2. If the code entered matches the allowed ones, you will see the message and will be able to proceed with the date/time selection.

  3. If the code is invalid, you’ll get an error message and won’t be able to proceed.

Delivery fees will be added to the Checkout as a separate product. For more info, please refer to this article.

How to rename the labels

  1. All the labels and messages related to the ZIP codes functionality can be renamed/translated in Settings >> Translations >> Zip codes.
